I would never will a boo boo on anyone, but if it has to happen, then this is a grand configuration of lacerations. Thanks to my quick-thinking friend, Dara, for recognizing an opportunity in the face of tragedy.
As she explained it, poor Ian was "savagely attacked by a palm tree in our back yard. The only thing more bizarre than that was the strange configuration of the wounds ... it is a shape that only the most discerning can understand." So true.
