Fruitful Face

I enjoyed the symmetry of this one -- thanks to Dara and her industrious 13 year old for sending. See, good things *can* happen when you play with your food!

Here are some Lenore additions -- she's never lonely, that Lenore; there are always faces popping up to keep her company.

I had taken some shots of similar garbage cans. You have to stare at them a bit, then suddenly they come alive. Well, OK, it helps if you're a little drunk. I liked this one, because it appears to have stomped out into the middle of the street in a fit of rebellion.

"Why helloooo!"

His Pain Is My Gain

I would never will a boo boo on anyone, but if it has to happen, then this is a grand configuration of lacerations. Thanks to my quick-thinking friend, Dara, for recognizing an opportunity in the face of tragedy.

As she explained it, poor Ian was "savagely attacked by a palm tree in our back yard. The only thing more bizarre than that was the strange configuration of the wounds ... it is a shape that only the most discerning can understand." So true.

Here's a close up for the less squeamish. Note, it appears to be winking!

Not Yet A Real Boy

We didn't spot many birds during the Backyard Bird Count bird walk in Feb., but I did see this guy in the woods. The spirit of Pinocchio maybe?

I spotted this face on my VCR quite some time ago, just never got around to posting it. Gee, guess that room needs dusting. Turns out you can't eliminate dust in PhotoShop! Good to know.

Hoops walked through my photo of this face on my little flashlight keychain, because that's just what she does. I took several shots, but this was the only one that wasn't blurry. Figures.

Lenore spotted this face at Otto Engineering during one of her walks.

How Many Faces?

Laura sent me this face...though upon closer inspection, there are actually three faces in the photo, can you see them all (click the image to see it larger)? I bet this guy never has trouble with tailgaters!
