Faux Hawk?

Faux or no, it's still a hip look. Lenore spotted this one during a recent nature walk at Trout Park. I believe that faux hair is fashioned from genuine skunk cabbage!

I'll let Lenore 'splain these next ones, since she's the one hearing voices.

"The first one was in a very messy storage room at one of the FAA radar sites in Evansville. The second on a sidewalk in East Dundee on a blustery day. The third was on the packaging attached to the salad tongs you recently gave to me."

She says the sidewalk face is dubious, but I very much like the random abstract art quality to it.

This Is Why I Never Played With Dolls!

Alma from Rodrigo Blaas on Vimeo.

I've always found dolls to be a wee bit creepy. In "Alma," a short film by Rodrigo Blaas, the creep factor goes up considerably and also illustrates how "faces in places" add their own air of ominousness. (Note the faces in this film's architecture.) I'm not sure how else to credit this filmaker, other than to say I love everything about his movie.
